The only difference is that you do not have to buy a domain before you have something worth showing.

Free SSL is issued automatically with the subdomain, and the dashboard includes full DNS management along with a "Site AI" feature. One condition to remember: the site must receive at least one visitor or hit every 30 days to stay active. That makes Ready.bd a better home for a live portfolio than for a forgotten test page.

Qom.bd is a straightforward, ad-free subdomain service that gives you addresses under .qom.bd. Its own page promises no cost and no ads, so you will not see forced banners on your site.

One account can hold up to five subdomains, which works well if you want separate addresses for a portfolio, a demo, a blog and a client preview. DNS access is complete, with A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT records available. The trade-off is that there is only one extension, so you have less choice in how your address looks.

cPanelFree is a free hosting service rather than a Bangladeshi provider. It is run from India but is open to anyone, so you can use it from Bangladesh. The free plan includes cPanel, 5 GB of disk space per domain, PHP 8.x, MySQL with phpMyAdmin, free SSL and one-click installs of WordPress, Joomla and Drupal through Softaculous. Sign-up needs no credit card, and the service states that it does not inject forced ads.

For addresses, it offers free subdomains on .co4.in, .c0m.in and .cooo.in, and you can also point a domain you registered elsewhere to the account. The free plan comes with one FTP account, no email accounts and no 24/7 support, and bandwidth and disk space are fair-use. That suits learning projects and small sites better than a business that needs dependable support. If you outgrow it, paid plans are available.

BSDC Cloud is a community-run hosting program from the Bangladesh Software Development Community (BSDC), built for students, beginners and developers in Bangladesh. Instead of only handing you an address, it gives you a place to actually run a site: free cloud hosting together with a free subdomain, and members can create more than one.

Every account comes with full cPanel access, PHP and MySQL support and quick deployment, and no credit card is needed. That makes it a practical sandbox for learning WordPress, Laravel or plain PHP without paying for hosting first.

One thing to keep in mind: this is a community program, not a commercial host. Eligibility, limits and availability can change, so do not treat it as guaranteed hosting for a paying client's site. Read the current rules on the BSDC Cloud website before you start, and keep a backup of your files so you can move quickly if anything changes.

Choose SITES.BD if you want the most DNS flexibility, four extensions to pick from and the option to connect Blogger or any hosting server. Choose Ready.bd if you want a short personal address with free SSL and you will keep the site visited. Choose Qom.bd if an ad-free address and up to five subdomains matter most.

Choose cPanelFree if you want free cPanel hosting with WordPress one-click installs and do not mind a non-.bd address. Choose BSDC Cloud if you want community-run free cloud hosting from a Bangladeshi developer group, especially if you are a student learning PHP.

A site on a free subdomain can be indexed and can rank, but you do not own the parent domain. If the provider changes its rules or shuts the program down, your address and its search history can disappear with it. A subdomain also looks less established to clients than a name that is fully your own.

A sensible path is to launch on a free subdomain, publish real content, and move to your own domain once the project has earned it.
